A preliminary meeting was held at the headquarters of the General Union of Charitable Societies, chaired by the Union's President, Amer Al-Khawaldeh, to discuss the development of an electronic platform for selling paper-based charitable lottery tickets. This initiative, undertaken in collaboration with Abaad Company for Smart Business Solutions, aims to keep pace with digital transformation and facilitate sales and charitable support through modern and secure methods.
The meeting was attended by Abaad Company Director Tariq Al-Khawaldeh and his specialized technical team, along with the President of the General Union of Charitable Societies, the Union's Vice President and Head of the Capital Union, Dr. Barakat Barakat, the Union's Director General, Khalil Al-Qubaisi, and several other Union employees.
During the meeting, the project's overall vision, objectives, and implementation mechanisms for the electronic platform were reviewed. The technical aspects related to digital security and ease of use were also discussed, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the sale of charitable lottery tickets and contributing to supporting charitable societies and enhancing their resources.
The President of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Amer Al-Khawaldeh, stated that this project comes within the framework of the Union's efforts to develop charitable work tools and transition to digital solutions that keep pace with modern technological advancements. He emphasized that the electronic platform will contribute to expanding community participation and facilitating citizens' access to the charitable lottery with ease and security.
