The Federation of Associations and the Amman Municipality sign an agreement to invest in kiosks for the purposes of selling the lottery.
The General Union of Charitable Societies signed an agreement with the Greater Amman Municipality to grant permits to exploit a number of kiosks for the benefit of the General Union inside the bus complex, with the aim of investing kiosks for the purposes of selling the lottery.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the General Union by its President, Dr. Atef Odaibat, and on behalf of the Secretariat, the Secretary-General, Dr. Youssef Al-Shawarba.
Dr. Adibat confirmed that this agreement aims to improve the revenues of the federation and the charitable lottery, noting that according to the agreement, a number of kiosks will be used within the northern bus departure complex with an area of (1.80 m2 The Union seeks to invest the largest number of kiosks in the future in cooperation with the secretariat in order to serve the poor segments and people with special needs, as communication will be made for this purpose and the noble humanitarian goal.
He stated that the Union seeks to diversify its sources by developing the Union’s work and lottery revenues to achieve development goals and create hundreds of direct and indirect job opportunities during the term of the agreement.
Adaibat praised the efforts made by the Amman Municipality to support and support institutions, unions and associations and its keenness to activate organized and participatory collective work with various institutions.
The Mayor of Amman, Dr. Al-Shawarbeh, emphasized the role of the secretariat to provide all forms of cooperation and support to cooperative and charitable institutions as a matter of its social responsibility and to provide distinguished, sustainable and flexible services while preserving the identity of Amman and developing society through planning, development, optimal investment of resources, and building partnerships with those concerned.
