The Interim Committee of the General Union of Charitable Societies decided to allocate an amount of 100 thousand dinars to be distributed to poor and needy families during the month of Ramadan.
The head of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Dr. Atef Udaybat, said, according to a statement today, Wednesday, that the General Union is keen to implement the royal directives, to stand by the poor and needy segments in such circumstances and economic challenges during the month of Ramadan to ease the burdens on them, explaining that the allocation of the amount came within a plan he prepared. Union to provide in-kind and cash assistance to the poor and needy.
He pointed out that coordination will be made with the unions in the governorates, the Ministry of Social Development, and the National Aid Fund in order to deliver aid to those who deserve it, according to the approved principles, through a database for these families.
He explained that the General Union gives great importance to volunteer, social, charitable and humanitarian work, and there will be continuity of communication with the relevant institutions throughout the month of Ramadan in order to provide the necessary support and distribute it within a fair basis.
