The General Union of Charitable Societies affirmed that the Throne Speech is a roadmap that combines established national constants and the ambition to empower citizens and enhance Jordan's status as a sovereign state with independent decision-making.
The head of the temporary administrative body of the General Union, Nasser Al-Shraideh, said that His Majesty the King expressed unshakable confidence in Jordan's established identity, stressing that the Kingdom will not gamble with its future or heritage.
He pointed out that Jordan is a country with deep historical roots that are not affected by the passing winds of change, stressing that the Jordanian decision stems from its national interests.
He said that the message was clear and explicit that defending Jerusalem is part of the Hashemite legacy and that His Majesty the King affirmed in his speech that Jerusalem will remain a Hashemite Jordanian priority, expressing Jordan's commitment to its historical role in protecting Islamic and Christian holy sites, "and Jordan will remain an honest and loyal voice in defending Jerusalem."
He stressed that the Throne Speech is a testimony that Jordan, with the determination of its people and the will of its leadership, will remain a symbol of security and stability in the region and the world.
He called for Jordan to remain proud of its national unity, confident in its leadership, and committed to its firm principles that have made it an oasis of stability in a turbulent region
