Amman: Lecture on social solidarity under the Hashemites

Today, the Diwan of the Northern Tribes in Amman organized a lecture in the Diwan Hall on social solidarity under the Hashemites on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The former Minister and President of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Dr. Atef Udaybat, said that reaching the month of Ramadan is a great blessing and favor from the Most Generous God, which He bestows upon whomever He wishes among His servants, to record for them a great reward and a great reward, and to obtain His satisfaction and to fill their hearts with His fear, indicating the virtues of fasting the month of Ramadan. God has prepared a great reward for those who fast. Mercy descends upon them and the gates of Paradise are opened.

Dr. Adibat added that we are proud to belong to the soil of this country and we are proud of our absolute loyalty to the distinguished Hashemite leadership, which every day snatches the world’s respect and appreciation and its lofty positions with regard to the rights of the Palestinians in general and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in particular in standing up to the barbaric attack unprecedented in history against our people in Gaza, appreciating the efforts of the Office of the Sons of the North, which Gathering the best people of the country to implement various activities and programmes.

Dr. Adibat emphasized the most important functions provided by social solidarity, including cooperation, partnership, compassion, and solidarity with each other, which are among the qualities we possess in our true Islamic religion.

He stated that the Union is constantly keen to embody the values of solidarity and solidarity, which are considered basic pillars in society and emphasizes the importance of joint work in achieving sustainable development and raising the standard of living of individuals, especially in the holy month in which the Islamic religion encourages goodness and giving.

Dr. Adibat added that the General Union, in line with the royal visions, stands with the poor and needy families in such circumstances and economic challenges during the month of Ramadan to ease the burdens on them, indicating that coupons were distributed according to fair principles and lists of the names of these families.

Odaibat pointed out the importance of collective voluntary and social work, which is considered a priority in the work of the Union, which has adopted a plan that includes diversifying its sources of income and increasing its communication with many organizations.

International projects and distributing specific projects to active associations that have direct contact with the needs of the local community and the daily lives of citizens.

He said that the General Union provided great and pioneering humanitarian services, and its development projects contributed to providing job opportunities to alleviate poverty and unemployment. These humanitarian works also added a good impact to the importance of respecting the citizen and preserving his dignity, indicating that these achievements came as a result of participatory work and collective effort between the Ministry of Social Development, the Union, and society. Local services are appropriate to the level of services provided to the charitable, humanitarian and volunteer sectors.

The head of the administrative body of the Office of the Sons of the North, Sharaf Al-Hayajneh, pointed out the importance of activating the contents of social solidarity among people, and for everyone to remain cooperative, loving, and helping each other, which is a human duty, stressing the importance of social solidarity, which provides the most wonderful examples of brotherhood and affection between members of society, including citizens, charitable organizations, and civil society institutions. To provide assistance to needy families, especially in the month of mercy, the holy month of Ramadan, in an effort to seek reward and rewards.

The lecture, whose activities were moderated by Ibrahim Bani Salama, in the presence of a number of members of the administrative and general body of the Bureau and the media spokesman for the Journalists Syndicate, Ali Freihat, included opening dialogue and discussion about strengthening social sponsorship among the people of the country.
