The General Union of Charitable Societies stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to spread the message of goodness and humanity, which is considered an integral part of society’s ethics, indicating the importance of the distinguished initiatives and efforts that Jordan is making at the international level.

The Union pointed out in a statement the importance of the International Human Solidarity Day in order to shed light on those working in the humanitarian, volunteer and charitable fields and their great role in performing their relief tasks and reaching those who need help and support in various parts of the world in times of crises.

The head of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Dr. Atef Odaibat, stated that this day comes in difficult circumstances that the region is going through, the most important of which is the war and aggression against family and brothers in Gaza and Palestine, which requires strengthening the humanitarian relief appeal by all parties, institutions and organizations to support their steadfastness and assistance in these times. He explained that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, was the best ambassador for the call for humanity and the great efforts and tours since the beginning of the aggression against Gaza in various countries in order to mobilize efforts to stop the war and genocide practiced by the Zionist occupation against them, in addition to instructing to send military hospitals and airdrops to provide them with aid in support of Gaza. The Palestinian people were granted land and sanctities

The Union sent a message of thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah II, who contributed through the Hashemite Charitable Organization to help the Gaza Strip, which painted the bright features of Jordan and its initiatives to support human solidarity.

He called for this day to take on humanitarian dimensions that end with solving the problem from its roots by granting the Palestinian people their right to their independent state and collecting cash and in-kind donations to alleviate their suffering as a result of this brutal occupation.
