In a statement issued today, the Union noted that today's events embody the high level of preparedness and professionalism of the Arab Army's brave men and reflect their steadfast commitment to protecting national sovereignty and safeguarding the country's security amid tense regional conditions that require the utmost vigilance and coordination.
It stated that national unity has been and will remain the safety valve in the face of all challenges, and that Jordanians stand united behind their Hashemite leadership and their valiant Arab Army, defending their security and stability.
It commended the statements of His Majesty the King and the official government spokesman, which included a rejection of turning Jordan into an arena for any conflict and emphasized that the nation's security is a red line that must not be violated or crossed.
