Al-Khawaldeh sponsors the Ramadan breakfast for the Basira Women's Association and the Farhat Al-Quloub Foundation

 

The President of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Amer Al-Khawaldeh, sponsored the Ramadan iftar organized by the Basira Women's Charitable Society in cooperation with the Farhat Al-Quloub Foundation for orphans in the Basira district. The event aimed to bring joy and happiness to the children and strengthen the spirit of solidarity and social cohesion among them.

Al-Khawaldeh emphasized that caring for and supporting orphans is a humanitarian and societal priority. He noted that such Ramadan initiatives reflect the spirit of solidarity and compassion that characterizes Jordanian society and contribute to bringing joy to children and enhancing their sense of care and attention.

He added that the General Union of Charitable Societies is committed to supporting initiatives and activities implemented by charitable societies throughout the Kingdom, especially those targeting orphans and needy families. He stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships between civil society organizations and official bodies to achieve social development and serve the most vulnerable groups.

The head of the association, Faiza Al-Saoudi, praised the efforts and support of the Farhat Al-Quloub Foundation, the head of the General Union of Charitable Societies, and the Directorate of Development in the Basira District for their contributions to the success of this charitable day, which brought joy to the hearts of orphaned children.

Al-Saoudi emphasized that such initiatives are part of the association's ongoing efforts to support the most vulnerable groups in the Basira District, instilling in children a sense of security and community care, and providing them with opportunities to interact with the local community in a positive atmosphere of love and solidarity.

She noted that this event is part of a series of annual activities and programs implemented by the association in cooperation with local institutions and supporting partners, with the aim of strengthening community work and serving vulnerable groups. She affirmed that partnerships between charitable societies and official bodies contribute to supporting orphan care programs and expanding the scope of social services provided to them.

The breakfast witnessed wide participation from volunteers and representatives of local organizations. Breakfast meals were served to the children, and symbolic gifts were distributed. In addition, recreational activities and educational competitions were organized, which contributed to bringing joy to the children and fostering a spirit of participation among them. The residents praised these humanitarian initiatives that contribute to bringing joy to the lives of orphaned children, stressing that the support of the local community and charitable organizations enhances the impact of these activities and increases their ability to achieve their humanitarian mission.
