The elected chairman of the General Union of Charitable Societies' administrative body, Amer Al-Khawaldeh, affirmed the new body's commitment to implementing specific plans and programs that contribute to developing the union's performance and strengthening its mission of supporting charitable and social work across the Kingdom.
This came during Al-Khawaldeh's reception of a number of national and political figures and representatives of charitable societies and various institutions, who came to the General Union's headquarters to offer their congratulations on their election victory and the official assumption of their duties.
According to a statement issued by the Union on Saturday, the attendees expressed their confidence in the new body and discussed new programs that serve the union's work and enhance its role in supporting charitable and social work.
The new administrative body of the General Union includes Al-Khawaldeh as chairman; lawyer Dr. Barakat Barakat as vice chairman; Maan Al-Shamayleh as secretary; Salah Al-Zoubi as treasurer; and Malki Bani Atta, Zaid Zaboun, Raad Abu Hamour, Farea Al-Masaeed, Moawad Al-Mazneh, and Mahmoud Al-Haisa as members.
