During a meeting held today at the Federation's headquarters, chaired by the oldest federation president, President of the Federation of Charitable Societies in Zarqa Governorate, Mohammed Al-Majali, the Administrative Board of the General Union of Charitable Societies distributed its administrative positions as follows:
Amer Al-Khawaldeh as President of the General Union; Attorney Dr. Barakat Barakat as Vice President; Maan Al-Shamayleh as Secretary; Salah Al-Zoubi as Treasurer; and the membership of Malki Bani Atta, Zaid Zaboun, Raad Abu Hamour, Fare' Al-Masaeed, Muawad Al-Mazna, Mahmoud Al-Haisa, Ahmed Krishan, and Mohammed Al-Majali.
During today's meeting, which was attended by the Federation's Director General, Khalil Al-Qubaisi, the Interim Administrative Board of the General Union of Charitable Societies, headed by Nasser Al-Shraideh, officially handed over the Federation's management to the President and elected members, following the completion of the election procedures for the sub-federations across the Kingdom.
Al-Shuraidah emphasized the importance of the General Federation's role in developing volunteer, charitable, and humanitarian work to serve local communities. He wished the new Federation administration success in fulfilling its duties and earning the trust of the General Assembly, which elected them as representatives of the sub-federations in all governorates of the Kingdom.
On the sidelines of the handover and distribution of positions, the General Federation held its first meeting, chaired by the new President of the General Federation, Al-Khawaldeh. Al-Khawaldeh emphasized the importance of partnership and coordination between the sub-federations and the General Federation to advance the Federation's work and develop its mechanisms, thus enhancing its role in supporting economic and social development.
He valued the trust placed in his colleagues in the federations and emphasized his confidence in the responsibility and integrity of serving the General Federation and the federations in the governorates. He indicated that a plan would be developed to implement activities, programs, and initiatives with various parties to promote the mission and objectives of the General Federation.
