The President of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Dr. Atef Odaibat, members of the administrative body, the Director of the Union and the Lottery, Khalil Al Qubaisi, and all the employees of the Union, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, which falls on the eighth of March of each year, gave a proud greeting to women in all their positions.
Adibat stressed the role of the Hashemite leadership in supporting women and amending legislation that serves them and enhances their participation in the development and development of society, noting that International Women’s Day is an occasion to celebrate their achievements in society and in the various fields in which they work and to recognize their status and effective contribution to public life and achieve the best gains that grant them their rights and the continuity of their giving. .
He said that Jordanian women have achieved many achievements, but they still have more ambitions ahead of them, and they have proven themselves through their pioneering and active role in the development process witnessed by the Kingdom and the advancement, progress and prosperity of the country.
He pointed out that the General Union is keen to empower women and advance their abilities, skills and experience, indicating that the General Union has foundations and standards to support projects of charitable organizations that are based on the economic empowerment of families and women in line with the royal directives and a belief in social justice and women’s rights to increase their participation in all fields.
He saluted the efforts of Jordanian women and what they have achieved in the social, political, economic and humanitarian fields, which deserve to be highlighted and the distinguished ones honored to motivate them towards more giving.
He also paid tribute to the struggling Palestinian woman as she fights the enemy on the one hand and carries out the process of building the nation on the other hand, as she is the mother and educator of generations and she works in the field and factory, in schools and hospitals, and in various fields of work.
We congratulate the woman on her day and pray for her to make more progress to raise society, develop it, and achieve more giving.
