A delegation from the General Union of Charitable Societies, headed by its President, Amer Khawaldeh, and including two members of the Union's Board of Directors: the Vice President of the General Union and Head of the Amman Union, Attorney Dr. Barakat Barakat, and the Head of the Aqaba Union, Muawad Al-Muzna, paid an official visit to the House of Representatives to congratulate His Excellency Mr. Mazen Al-Qadi on the House's confidence in electing him Speaker.
Al-Qadi welcomed the Union's delegation and expressed his appreciation for this kind gesture, commending the significant role played by charitable societies in serving the community and supporting the state's efforts in the areas of development and social welfare.
The Union's President and the delegation members expressed their pride in the confidence bestowed upon His Excellency by the members of the House, praising his distinguished national and administrative career marked by dedication and achievement.
During the meeting, Khawaldeh requested that a date be set for a joint meeting between the Union and the House of Representatives to explore avenues for cooperation and coordination with the House in a way that serves the interests of charitable unions and societies and empowers them to fulfill their humanitarian and social mission in service of the public good.
