Irbid: Graduation of participants in the training workshop in the field of conservation

 

The activities of the training workshop in the field of conservation for charitable societies, organized by the General Union of Charitable Societies in cooperation with the Federation of Associations in Irbid, the Resource Center for Supporting Conservation in the Middle East and North Africa (RSH), and the Emdaj Company for Development and Training Consultations, were concluded in the Umayyah Restaurant Hall in Irbid Governorate.

Vice President of the Union of Charitable Societies, Ayyash Krishan, who sponsored the graduation ceremony as a representative of the President of the General Union, Dr. Atef Odaibat, stressed the importance of the workshop, which contributed to strengthening and developing the capacities of the associations in order to achieve their charitable, humanitarian and voluntary mission and goals towards society.

He stated that there is continuity in holding many workshops and courses within this project, as two courses were implemented in Amman and Irbid and will also be held in Zarqa and Madaba), praising the fruitful and constructive cooperation between the Union, RSH and Emaj.

Jordan's representative at the Resource Center to Support Conservation in the Middle East and North Africa, Omar Qawasmeh, expressed this partnership with the Union in order to benefit the largest possible number of associations, which reflects positively on their workers and enhances policies and practices related to conservation, especially with regard to protection against exploitation, abuse and sexual harassment.

At the end of the graduation ceremony, which was attended by the Vice President of the Irbid Federation, Fayza Al-Zoubi, the Director of Projects in the Federation, Shatha Qtaishat, the Director of Federations and Associations in the Federation, Reham Amayreh, and the Head of the Public Relations Department, Raya Harahsheh, Krishan handed over certificates to the participants.
